My passion for collecting watches led me to vintage timepieces, where that passion quickly turned into an obsession. Each vintage watch carries its own history, story, character, origin, and charm. Because of this, no two pieces can be evaluated under the same scope.

I have been fortunate to work with collectors, watchmakers, watch brands, and to be a co-founder of Watch Collector Group. These experiences helped me develop a higher standard for evaluating Pre-Owned and especially Vintage Watches.

Our CPO Program—Certified Authentic Pre-Owned Vintage & Luxury Watches by Experts Watches—is built on a 30‑point inspection checklist that continues to evolve and improve.

The Certified Authentic Pre-Owned Luxury program is designed to promote consistent customer satisfaction by thoroughly evaluating each timepiece. When necessary, our watchmakers perform a full movement service and overhaul: the movement is disassembled, inspected, cleaned, lubricated, regulated, and reassembled. Worn or broken parts are replaced using only original manufacturer parts.

The last thing I want as a seller is to have a watch come back—or worse, have an unhappy customer. That is why I introduced our CPO program.

We take the time to review each watch and provide a detailed presentation of its condition. This commitment is one of the reasons we have become one of the most trusted vintage watch sellers online. Informed customers make the best choices, so I encourage you to review our specification section.

Some dealers avoid deep inspections due to the time and cost involved. But when you operate out of passion, practicality often takes a back seat.

Some of our watches are over 90 years old, while others are much newer. Each one is different, but every watch is tested to provide our customers with a clear and honest snapshot of its condition.

Our Certified Authentic Pre-Owned Program

Every watch we offer undergoes a comprehensive evaluation designed for serious collectors who value originality, accuracy, and full transparency. We maintain originality whenever possible—parts are never replaced unless absolutely necessary, and servicing is performed only when required to ensure proper mechanical performance.

Our inspection covers every major component of the watch:

• Dial: printing, lume, aging, alignment
• Hands: lume, condition, jump behavior
• Case: shape, edges
• Bezel: rotation, insert condition, alignment
• Crystal: clarity, scratches, originality when applicable
• Movement: inspection
• Crown & Pushers: threading, feel, originality, operation
• Caseback: engraving, markings, 
• Bracelet/Strap:  (if applicable)

Extensive Functional Testing & Mechanical Verification

Beyond cosmetic inspection, each watch undergoes full functional testing to ensure proper operation and reliability. This includes:

• Manual winding and automatic rotor freedom
• Time-setting smoothness and hand alignment
• Date, day, and month change (standard and quickset)
• Chronograph start, stop, and reset-to-zero accuracy
• Amplitude and beat error evaluation
• Power reserve performance
• Pusher feel and crown
• Lume behavior and consistency
• Demagnetization when necessary

When servicing is required, movements are carefully disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, regulated, and reassembled using original manufacturer parts only. Cosmetic components are not replaced unless absolutely necessary to preserve authenticity.

Every watch listing includes a comprehensive SPECIFICATION TABLE that provides a full breakdown of the watch, including:
