Built for all manner of adventure, Zodiac watches date back to 1882 when Ariste Calame founded his company in Le Locle, Switzerland. A perfectionist, Calame controlled all aspects of watchmaking—from design to production tools. Zodiac earned an international reputation for quality and innovation, including the first Swiss-made automatic sports watch in 1930 and a patented shock-resistant case system in 1974.
Zodiac has focused on rugged yet stylish sports watches, many with military-inspired attributes. After being purchased by Fossil in 2001, Zodiac returned to vintage designs from the 1950s and 1960s, when the Sea Wolf model was highly prized and worn by Navy Seals.
From vibrant caoutchouc rubber straps to oversized cases in the Super Sea Dragon line, today’s Zodiac timepieces combine Swiss craftsmanship with attention to detail—just as they have since 1882.
